Mold is one of the most important links in blow molding. The appropriate temperature control can compass dual purposes of speeding up the products shape and ensuring the quality of products. There are some tips listed out as follow:
1、The size of the mold should be within the range permitted by the extrusion blow molding machine.
2、When installing the mold, the upper surface of the mold depends on the upper surface of the platen.
3、The center of the mold cavity depends on the center of the extrusion nozzle of the extrusion head.
4、Take the center of the mold blow nozzle as the benchmark to trial the position and depth of inserting the blow rod. Note the insertion depth should not exceed the stop nut located above the rod oil tank to avoid any damage of the mold.
5、Please manually unclamp & clamp, jog to insert blow nozzle to ensure that the mold, extrusion nozzle and the blow nozzle are aligned.
